Our creative studio on rue de Flandre, central Brussels
Break-it is a workshop-boutique open 7 days a week at 73 rue de Flandre, 1000 Brussels, between Place Sainte-Catherine, the Dansaert district and the canal. No booking needed on weekdays from 1pm to 8pm and at weekends from 10am to 8pm: you arrive, choose your workshop and settle in.
The space welcomes a single visitor as easily as a group of friends or an office team. All materials are provided and included in the price, and you take your creation home the same day. Our hosts guide you in English or French, which makes it an ideal activity for expats and international groups.

Why choose a creative workshop over a classic activity?
A creative workshop is two hours where you put your phone down, work with your hands and let conversation flow naturally. Unlike an escape room or a bar, everyone takes part at their own pace, the shy and the talkative alike, and nobody leaves empty-handed.
At Break-it, every workshop is designed to be accessible from your very first try: the host explains the techniques, guides your choices (scent accords, charms, colours, shapes) and makes sure your creation turns out well. The result: a unique keepsake made by you, and an experience you will recommend to friends.
Our creative workshops are also a great answer to “what to do in Brussels when it rains?”: indoors, in the city centre, no booking needed, and with something concrete to show for it.

How long does a workshop last?
Between 1h (perfume) and 2h30 (mosaic). Most workshops last about 2 hours: time to learn the technique, create and finish your piece.
Can I come on my own?
Yes, and it is very common: there is no minimum number of participants at our Brussels studio. You sit at a table and the host guides you just like a group.
From what age?
Our workshops are open from age 10 with an adult. They suit teens, adults and seniors alike: no craft skills required.
In which language are the workshops hosted?
In English and French. Tell us your preferred language on arrival or when requesting a quote.
Can you run the workshop at our home or office?
Yes. From 6 participants we bring all the materials to your home, office or venue of your choice, in Brussels and anywhere in Belgium. Set-up and clean-up included.
What if my creation goes wrong?
It almost never happens: the host supports you at every step and fixes things with you. You always leave with a creation you are proud of.
Which workshop should I pick for a first try?
The jewelry or clay workshops are the most accessible (€35, 1h30 for jewelry, 2h for clay). For a more sensory experience choose perfume making; for a lasting decorative piece, mosaic.
